The Founder- Adriana Hummel is the proud and creative founder of Sweet Peas Co. She was born in Colombia but raised in Fort Lauderdale, FL. She's the mother of a healthy baby girl Maya, proud mom of a shitzu named Brooklyn and wife to her best friend Jason.
The BIG idea- Adriana graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Radio/Television, but always had a passion for the fashion and entrepreneurial industry. Shortly after graduating, she landed a job at Discovery Communications aka Discovery Channel in Media Planning. As every parent can relate, our children inspire us to be the best version of ourselves so Adriana knew it was her time to make a product that would allow her to share it with the world! When Maya was born Adriana stopped buying things for herself and buying everything for Maya. She started buying bows of all kinds for Maya as Maya had very little hair and was being mistaken for a baby boy because according to the world, a girl needs to have hair in order to be a girl, as every girl parent can relate. Adriana found most of the bows would either fall off Maya's head, leave marks on her baby, or Maya would simply pull the bow off because they were uncomfortable. Adriana realized she needed to create something that would be fashionable, comfortable, interchangeable, and baby friendly. She came up with the idea of making head wraps for baby girls and has turned her idea into Sweet Peas Company. We're sure her head wraps will be a big hit!
